| Our client a major international energy company are looking for a talented Multi Skilled Crane Operator.
The successful candidate will be multi-skilled in areas of Crane Operations, Materials Control and HLO providing 5th week cover on Talisman’s Montrose and Arbroath platforms and will report directly to the Ops Co (Montrose) and OIM (Arbroath). The work rotation for the position will be 14 days offshore, 21 days leave.
JOB DESCRIPTION
CRANE OPERATIONS (Arbroath Platform)
•Operating installation crane safely and within design limits.
•Assisting in carrying out routine inspections, lubrication weekly and monthly planned maintenance and assisting in overhauls of vessel’s crane.
•The handling of stores to and from supply vessels and within the installation.
•Carrying out duties associated with safe helicopter operations (HLO) and the day to day requirements to keep the helideck and associated equipment operational.
MATERIALS CONTROL (Arbroath and Montrose)
•Effectively control the flow of Materials and Equipment including bulks.
•Prepare & complete documentation in accordance with the relevant International regulations for shipment of goods by Sea or Air.
•Manifest preparation and shipment of operations, maintenance and fabricated materials.
•Maintain and develop installation stock systems
•Conduct stock checks as required.
•Liaise & communicate frequently with operations, project & maintenance personnel [onshore and offshore] regarding the status of goods receipt, "bagging & Tagging” and dispatch. Liaise with Service provider, Operational Base and vendors.
•Conduct all transactions on the clients system TMAX (MAXIMO) and CPR
•Prompt offshore hire of Plant & Equipment.
GENERAL DECK OPERATIONS
•To organise and conduct safe and efficient operations on deck and other areas as required by responsibilities.
EXPERIENCE, SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS
•Crane Course Parts 1 and 2 with Part 3 essential.
•Experience of Materials operations offshore essential
•HLO trained and experienced essential.
•Knowledge of TMAX (MAXIMO) essential.
•Current IMDG Shipping of Dangerous Good’s by Sea and IATA Shipping of Dangerous Good’s by Air.
•Demonstrated understanding and working knowledge of safe working systems – e.g., SOS, ISSOW, Risk Assessment
•A degree of flexibility and ability to work effectively within a team or multi discipline team
